Centre for Associative Economics

Promoting understanding of an associative approach to economic life

Established in 2001 as a focus for associative economics in the English-speaking world, the Centre provides a focus for worldwide collaboration. Conceived as a virtual 'think tank' and coordinated jointly by Christopher Houghton Budd and Arthur Edwards, its activities, which are both conceptual and practical in scope, mainly entail researching, archiving and publishing.

The results of research are published by under various imprints: New Economy Publications, Rudolf Steiner Archive and Associative Economics Institute (see cfae.biz/publications) and AE Briefings.

The Centre also organizes occasional seminars and workshops, which mainly take place in London, details of which are provided under Events.

Authorised to use the (ae) Mark, the Centre is a private limited company registered in England and controlled by a non-profit association dedicated to furthering associative economics. If you would like to contribute to the Centre's work, either by way of research grants or capital for publications, please get in touch.
